本案原始文件資料來自唐蕙韻於2010年受金門縣文化局委託主持的「金門縣傳統聚落傳統契書調查研究計畫」。金門傳統契約在多數傳統聚落家族中，仍然以家長制的傳統傳世，文件來源和社會背景清晰，然而古文書契約中的當事人，也因此在地方社會久遠綿密的人群關係中，易於在當地社會中受檢核比對，隨文書內容面世而曝光個人與家族隱私。這種隱私顧忌的存在，既是金門地方社會深植於歷史背景的傳統與當世，也是金門古文書不同於其他博物館古文書來源的特徵。因此本案全面以ID代號代入契書內容全文中涉及的人名，同時盡力在代號中呈現契書內文中的人物、家族關係。案內人名代號ID大寫是該家族傳世契約中同姓間的轉讓，代號ID小寫是受契人與立契人不同姓氏。 希望在這樣的嘗試中，能夠既公開保存金門家族制傳世古文書、同時維護個中家族的隱私顧慮，促使更多存在於當地歷史傳統下的家族文書，能夠以公共文化財面世。

The original documents in this database come from the "Investigation and Research Project of Traditional Deeds of Traditional Settlements in Kinmen County" hosted by Professor Tang Huiyun, and commissioned by the Cultural Bureau of Kinmen County in 2010. In most traditional settlement families, the traditional contract of Kinmen is still handed down in the tradition of patriarchy. The source of the document and the social background are clear. However, the parties in the ancient document contract are therefore easy to accept in the local society in the long and dense relationship between the people in the local society. Check and compare, and expose personal and family privacy as the content of the document becomes available. The existence of this privacy scruples is not only the tradition and present age deeply rooted in the historical background of the local society of Kinmen, but also the characteristic of the ancient documents of Kinmen different from the sources of ancient documents of other museums. Therefore, in this case, the ID code was used to substitute the names of the persons involved in the full text of the deed, and at the same time, we tried our best to present the characters and family relationships in the contents of the deed in the code. It is hoped that in such an attempt, it will be able to publicly preserve the ancient documents handed down by the Kinmen family, while maintaining the privacy concerns of the families, so that more family documents that exist in the local historical tradition can be made available as public cultural assets.
